Rachel Wright

Rachel won the Columbus Idol in 2004, opened for Mary J. Blige, performed for power 106.3’s jam fest, and was the opening act at The Ohio State University Men’s Gymnastic championship. Being inspired by Anita Baker, Patti LaBelle, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, and so many other legends, has pushed her to want to share her gift with the world.

Rachel Wright, born and raised in the heart of Columbus, Ohio, started singing since the bright age of 4 at a family church called Pilgrim Baptist Church. She’s an American R&B singer, songwriter and producer, who has always known she was born to be a star.

“I have spread my dreams beneath your feet. Tread softly because you tread on my dreams” is a quote by W.B.Yeats, which inspires Rachel to stay focused.
